Samsung S Galaxy, a year later

After a year of use, I thought to write an article on how to behave this phone last year. Even if there is art and it overshadows the success of its predecessor and certainly are people looking to buy this phone at a good price. Note: See pictures and videos about / with Sansung Galaxy S Start with the outside. That is why many have complained about this phone release. Although we had very good care of him and I missed a couple of times on foot, has only scratches. There was nothing broken or cracked, including the top of the border that covers the front of the phone. A known problem is that border that is not glued well. But although catching bike racks fixed phone in place, not broken. Since "squeaky" but not a major problem. Another problem with the Super AMOLED's known, is the phenomenon called "Screen Burn-in". I have always kept to a minimum brightness (auto brightness turned off) and increased it as needed. Two reasons: the phenomenon, but also because of battery consumption. So my phone screen does not have this problem. A little tip: if you press the bar and slide your finger right notice, the brightness increases. Therefore I allowed to keep your auto brightness off. TouchWiz is a specific function and is present only on Samsung phones. I was glad to find other useful functions. Besides the tip mentioned above, you can easily screenshots (holding down the back button on the home), camera panorama function or secret codes. Those codes allow testing of various functions of the phone. There is a useful feature for anyone, but I'm glad I have this option. In addition, Samsung offers applications for listening to music, watching movies, reading books etc.. That means no more searching an application that works. I still do not mind allows you to sort applications alphabetically. For this use "TouchWiz AppSort" the market. Unfortunately, this application requires root. I went with this phone from Android 2.1 to 2.2.1, then 2.3.3 and finally I was on 2.3.4. No update was not perfect. Each came with different problems. Some were resolved, others still survive. But you talk about the latest version. The biggest jump is speed. I honestly had no problems so major, but I think it's mirage and benchmarks. They always give the correct notes. But the jump is spectacular. From 900 points, up to ~ 1300.With the update to 2.3, Samsung has shrunk voltage WiFi antenna gave it to consume less power. The disadvantage is that the phone can not catch weak signal networks. While staying very central, I have problems with the signal. I do not know if Orange to blame, or phone. This phone is clearly suffering from "death grip". In other words, if your skin comes into contact with the "hump" on the back, the signal decreases. If "wireless locations" is turned on, Maps decide to start all the time. That means huge consumption of battery. Of course, if the net of the mobile is on, battery consumption increases dramatically. With him on losing 10% overnight. With it off, lost 1-2%. Although most manufacturers say that programs like "Advanced Task Killer" are useless, I found that this program is essential. The clearest example was when my one phone button, started various applications and has not stopped. After a few hours when I grabbed him, I looked on the phone and I woke up I ran about 50% battery! So I advise you to use these programs. Finally, we have been and are pleased with this phone. Remains a good option and will not be prevented only by ill-made applications.
